Before the meditation session starts, we will discuss any physical or mental issues that you may be feeling. The healer will demonstrate deep and shallow breathing to you to ensure that you get the full benefits. You will be asked to think about setting your intention- what you want to achieve or experience through the session- such as, healing physically or mentally, building self-confidence, self-discovery, balance or any other intention which resonates within you. Setting your intention will help guide and enhance the mediation, especially if you are looking for direction in your life. You will be asked to do the session barefoot to allow energy to move around freely. If you do not feel comfortable having your feet touched, that is fine and can be made known before the session starts.
At the start of the session, you will be laid down in a comfortable position and asked to use the deep breathing technique- inhaling through your nose, a deep breath into your belly and exhaling slowly. This helps the feeling of stress to dissolve and brings a sense of relaxation to your mind and body. Deep breathing has many benefits such as: lowers blood pressure, reduces stress and anxiety, balances the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood, improves focus, allows better sleep, relieves pain, improves immunity as the blood becomes fully oxygenated which also helps increase energy and much more.
Whilst you are deep breathing, the healer will use incense sticks (if you approve) to enhance the experience and to help create a calm and soothing atmosphere. Incense sticks help to ease stress and promote focus and relaxation.
The power of sound is something that most of us have experienced. Sometimes, you hear a song and it can bring back good, bad or sad memories- changing your mood instantly. Music is a very powerful tool!
Throughout the meditation session, angel frequency (Solfeggio Frequencies) music is used. Angel frequency refers to Hz - a sound set at a certain frequency - found in music- this helps to open up your Chakras. The sounds react to your mind and body in certain ways and have many benefits such as: reduce stress, relieve pain, improves sleep, boost immunity, aid in healing body and mind, awaken intuition and much more.
Crystals will be placed on certain parts of your body depending on which Chakra is being focused upon. Crystals have healing properties and can help promote the flow of good energy as they interact with your body's energy field helping to create balance and alignment bringing harmony to the body.
During the session, you will be asked to inhale an essential oil which correlates with the Chakra that is being worked on. Our sense of smell is more sensitive and immediate than our other senses and has many benefits on our mind, body and spirit. Essential oils can help to: enhance well-being and mood with their mood-enhancing properties helping to ease feelings of anxiety or boost your mood positively; promote relaxation by working with hormones in the brain to aid in the feeling of relaxation; improves concentration and focus; balances energy by either relaxing or stimulating the body; relieve pain and reduce inflammation and much more.
If agreed, the oil will also be rubbed onto the sole of your feet as the oil can be easily absorbed through the feet due to the larger pores- aiding in faster absorption into the bloodstream. Your feet are full of pressure points and correspond to different organs in your body, so massaging essential oils onto your feet can have positive effects on particular parts of your body.
During the session, you will be asked to bring your awareness to the particular Chakra being worked on and to visualise a particular colour which corresponds with the Chakra. As you focus on the Chakra, you will be asked to direct your breath to that specific area. With each inhale, you will visualise breathing in vibrant, healing energy. You will spend time with the specific Chakra, allowing yourself to fully connect with its energy.
A mantra is a sacred sound/ a motivational phrase/word which is repetitively chanted and is used to prepare the body for deep relaxation, invoke specific energies and states of being, reduce stress, improve memory, promote a positive outlook and much more. During the session, you will be asked to chant a mantra which correlates with the Chakra being worked on.

The Heart Chakra- Yam
The Throat Chakra- Ham
The Third Eye Chakra- Om
The Crown Chakra- Om/Ah
Affirmations are positive statements/phrases which can be used to help challenge negative thoughts and help you to overcome fear and self-doubt. Affirmations help to shift from negative to positive thoughts and helps to build a more confident, you!
A sound bath is a meditative experience with the use of various instruments which bathe you in sound waves/vibrations.
Sound baths can help reduce anxiety and stress and even help with pain relief.
Instruments used during the session:
- Singing Bowl
Singing bowls help with relaxation, healing and reduce anxiety as the vibrations from the bowl help to centre the body and mind through the vibrations correlating with brain waves.
Benefits can include:
mental and emotional (reduce anxiety and stress, promote inner peace, improve concentration, release negative emotions and blockages); physical (improve the quality of sleep, pain relief, improve blood pressure , respiratory rate and heart rate); and help promote deep relaxation.
- Rain Stick
Rain sticks are used to create a gentle sound like falling rain and are used for relaxation.
-Ocean Drum
An ocean drum creates wave sounds and is used to help relieve stress and to calm the mind.
-Tuning Fork
A tuning fork (128Cps) is used to help relax the body and release stress. When placed on or around the body, the tuning fork sends vibrations deep into the tissue and stimulates energy flow. Tuning forks can also help with muscle relaxation and alleviating inflammation and pain.
At the end of the session, you will be asked to bring your attention to your body and to observe your breath and sensations within your body. When you are ready, you will gently bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Take a moment to express gratitude and then slowly open your eyes. You may want to take a moment to reflect on any thoughts or feelings that may have arisen during the session. This may help you to gain a deeper understanding of any intentions which you set at the beginning of the session.
After the session, you may feel different emotions both positive and negative- this is natural. It may be beneficial to take notes on any emotions which may arise. You may also feel quite fatigued afterwards, so be careful if you are driving to only do so when you feel ready.
You may be given some take away processes or actions to do at home.
